It actually holds up pretty decently as far as frame rate and things goes. But yes, I wouldn't return to it, even if I was a fan beforehand. It's just old. :P
I can't say I share your opinion, but I understand why this game might mean alot to most people. :P
It isn't. I mean, it can be fun playing something like 'Throwing Knives only' or something, but as far as an FPS experience goes, it's very dated, and very poor.
