I m a fifa fan and there s no way I gonna wait 8 months to play it for free or pay 30 a year for 10% off. The games always cost more online than in shops so unless u re lazy and u can't move u re butt, it s pretty much guaranty u 'll get it cheaper there.
(ex:fifa14 £55 psn price/£49 adds and Tesco)

you know that ps3 has been outselling x360 worldwide since 2008, right??
And in 2006, the only territories ps3 was available was north America and Japan .
In 2007 ps3 was finally available in Europe and the rest is history.when u consider all the bad press, the higher price, the network hack, ps3 outsold x360 with a year late in the market and two holidays season behind in europe.

Ea access is a good service but it already exist on PlayStation. It s called ps+
Ex: Fifa 14 for only £29
BATTLEFIELD3, NFS, DEAD SPACE3 FOR FREE+ many discounted games and no matter how much Microsoft pays Ea for exclusivity(like free fifa14 on x1 at launch or FIFA14 x1 exclusi've ultimate team) the game will still sell great or better on PlayStation.

Misguided like what u call facts.I m not saying x1 doesn't get something good with EA access, all I m saying is this service already exist on pPlayStation for the past two years now, it s called ps+.Last year we had BATTLEFIELD3,NFSmost wanted. For free and fifa14 discounted at £29 by May.
And I m sure this trend will continue next year.
With ps+, u ve got great free and discounted games from all publishers all year long. No need for any more acces...

Ps4 is a 9 month old console.and yet we have seen some great games(if not genre defining)but amazing games take more than 2 years to be made.
The same can be said about other consoles.
