is it really a flop? or is it the case that just the core gamers don't like it? while the casuals are all over this title? do you know how little effort there was involved setting this game up? do you know how many units they needed to sell to break even? i bet all these questions this blogger has to answer with a proud "no".
it is also nigh impossible to go back to sub-resolution games, but still the switch is a thing. what does this mean for this article and the overall bias that's behind gamer's mindsets? ;-) if resolution is not relevant for gaming, like the knights in shining nintendo armor don't get tired to preach, then of course subpar framerates aren't either ;-)
to me personally, yes, it seems like that. bayonetta 1 is an ancient game that may run just fine on the out of date hardware of the switch. bayonetta 2 ist just more of the same. so, both titles can be milked again by bringing them for the switch.
what‘s the point of promoting this game? everybody hates it no one wants it, people maybe for once are giving a signal and then the next blogger comes along advertizing the game by doing an article about it because he will get a few bucks for the article.
what happened to creating new games? these reheats provide zero value. and i am beginning to question the state of mind of people who are shouting for more of such rehashes.
yes. it‘s part of the user experience. some just don‘t like to settle for substandards. because why. especially when one got the option.
but that‘s the whole point of a videogame. but i agree, procedurally generated content is lazy and unimaginative. and there has yet a game to arrive that makes proper and intelligent use of this mechanic.
konami is doing fine with its business model that‘s targeted at indifferent casuals.
can‘t wait to get another port of shadow of the colossus on ps5. seriously, i hope next gen will be a bit more thrilling than this reheat-, rehash- and portfest that this gen has been and still is. this gen had some entertaining titles but way too few to call this gen sensational. industry needs to spice up its game a little bit. and please. a little less indie crap a little more quality titles in the psn store of the future gen.
blogger did not get this title. this is indicated by the score. deeper games should be reviewd only by people who are able to grasp the deepness and don‘t just look for graphics and a quick spritekill. seriously. this grade is a shame.
i thought bayonetta 1 was way too grindy and way too weird to deserve more than a 7/10, the second i didn't even bother with. so talk about an extremely biased blog post.
If people really were serious about punishing this title and the ways of Konami they wouldn't even blog about it. :/
Every signal other than ignoring it is the wrong signal you guys are giving.
didn‘t click the article because LA noire wasn‘t a good game, so the point of this article is non existant.. at least to me.
the boring, worn–out medieval setting is pushing me to ignore this.
if t was that easy we wouldn‘t have gotten to the situation we‘re in now. if people were able to use their brains when the first title that came around with such crooked ideas, this title would have gotten ignored and the other devs and pubs would have gotten the right signal. but face it, blogging portals like this where people voice their anger is the absolute minimum of all customers. if comments in blogging sites or social media mattered – it would not be there. so i‘m afraid this abomina...
so, gaming is no charity. now i‘m shocked.
will laugh my backside off when everyone who is making a fuzz out of MT these days is going to prostitute himself by buying the lootcrate– and microtransactionsfest that rdr2 is going to be :P
not yet. no more kojima is a big plus.
funny. boring banal and unrenarkable was what i was calling the mgs series all these years. maybe they‘re finally onto something worth the while. a game that gets downvoted solely for microtransactions might actually be good.
right.totally regretting this purchase. i was blinded by nostalgia and should have minded all the red flags for this reheat.
The point of this blog post being??
