Got a chance to play this out at PAX Prime and immediately, started getting the hang of the rockets. Precision is so key, from the number of rockets you dish out to the angles and order and timing you dish them out in that all I can think about was Speed Running it. Reminded me a lot of Bit.Trip. I liked it!

I feel like it's been in Pre-alpha for ever!!! Just give me more videos on gameplay! I need it!

Yes. All the yes.

Funny you mention price. I started thinking, if you buy a PS move, and the camera (which comes with the move?), and the Morpheus, and $60, I'm thinking you'll probably be in already $400 if not $500... My only worry is that the games will always be these seated, rail like experiences, just to save people from having nausea.

I doubt it'll be a one trick pony, but... you never know.

I thought the same. The camera auto resets your position just in case the gyroscope/accelerometer becomes misaligned. A great solution to a problem that other VRs might have problems with.

Right! I may... just have to buy all that hardware JUST to play games like these. The reloading felt so smooth!

I can see this game being a time sink. A time sink that I would be all about.

Skyrim, you were good to me... but now... I have NMS.

You monster! Don't you know sites thrive on ads?! *scrolls, clicks, unblocks n4g* ._.

Personal preference, but if that was a hairy man asking me "do you want to come and play?" I would 'probably' not be as intrigued...

But watching this, I wonder why my pants are no longer on my body.

Whales. The mobile app gaming market is a monster. Went to GDC and got some stats on the most recent North American mobile gamers.

Total mobile gamers: ~140MM users
Whales (heavy payers): 6% paying >$10 per month, 8MM users
Moderate payers: 49% paying between $.01 to $9.99 per month, 69MM users
Non-payers: 45% spending nada per month, 65MM users

So, for NA alone, mobile games (all app games with microtransactions, not just this on...

@LeoDDestroyer

Too black and white. Let me try to introduce the grey.

Chrono Trigger was a game I enjoyed playing over and over, trying different things, getting different endings. In that regard, yes, same content, but at the same time, different return every time.

Final Fantasy (7 and tactics specifically for me). Different parties, different materia, different classes, different builds, etc. Same content, yes, but again, different re...

There was one scene in Gears that had an impact, but didn't move me as much as I think it was trying to. I think it was when you found the wife of your partner in one of those capsules... I can't remember though.

I'm seriously debating whether or not it makes sense to just throw my Xbox 360 Slim on ebay now that i Have a Xbox One and it's BC.

I can't believe that there was no one at Nintendo who saw this and wasn't like, "wow... yeah, no, this is terrible. Please have the team start over. We're not going to E3 this year. You lose all bathroom privileges for the week."

They knew what they were getting into. They were ready to deal with the initial outcry of the fans for the amount of revenue they'd pull in the long run. How much it costs to make this game might be lower than a "r...

@Lon3wolf - I don't think it's the feeling of entitlement. All this hostility is being brought on because yes, the price, but also because the pre-purchase really only gets you a spot in for the beta. Other than that, content wise, they haven't confirmed much. Some of the stuff they have confirmed were things that had already been mentioned as part of the updates to the core game.

Also, on the website prior to the pre-purchase:
Q: Do I have to own Gui...

To most people on Guild Wars 2 who bought into the game because there were no sub fees, that $50/£35 expansion, being equal to or more than the price of the actual core game, is expensive. For new players, it seems awesome! But for loyal players, it's like saying "Oh, it's you again. Please put your money over there. No character slot for the new class? Well... too bad."

Plus, with no release date or content breakdown, what are we actually buying? ...
