If you've played Borderlands 1 you'd know that Gearbox DLC is phenomenal. The season pass is an excellent business model as well as an excellent deal for the consumer in the right hands. If anyone can do the Season Pass right, it'll be Gearbox.
Another fighting game? Wow, this is a really dumb move by Microsoft. This is their chance to get an exclusive fighting game (which I don't believe they have) with a fairly good following. Why do they think Rare is at a better place making Avatar items? -_-
God, ONE developer let slip a stupid comment and there goes the internet. This isn't news, this is just stupid nonsense. No one would even remember the damn comment if these "gaming journalists" did their jobs and posted news, not this bullshit.
I think after The 40th Day a reboot is the best path.
Pretty much this, when I heard of a BF4 beta I didn't think for a moment I'd be getting anything for "free." And it wasn't in the promises Premium gave so I see no reason to be pissed.
Oh well, I'm sure it'll go public, and when it does we'll see if it can beat BF3.
It's not just the coop though, they're changing everything that made Dead Space what it was what with cover mechanics, fighting humans, and universal ammo.
I'm still betting on the fact that Connor doesn't know about the Free Masons and gets betrayed by Washington during the game. THAT'S when he starts killing colonists.
What do I want from Half Life 3? Confirmation that it exists, please Valve. D:
And I disagree with the article, Source really is a fine engine, if HL3 looked like Portal 2 I'd be just fine with it. Multiplayer in Half Life? Just no. It just doesn't belong. The tie-ins with Portal are just fine too, no need to go crazy with tie ins.
Another type of cool weapon though, I see no harm in. But keep the Gravity Gun the way it is, thing is amazing.
Wait what? People hated Gex? That shit was amazing though. :(
Well, of course vets will be more skilled, but beginners won't be completely outclassed now that the beginner weapons aren't shit. They'll have a bit of a chance to actually kill something now.
Why does everyone hate the new patch? Cause their cheap tricks are gone and the weapons have been balanced to the point that beginners can actually stand a chance?
I honestly love the patch, I used to only see the M249, Famas, and of course USAS (frag rounds -_-) in the kill feed, now people are using all different types of weapons and it works out for everybody. Games are dominated based on skill now, not what guns you have.
I miss Tech TV, Sandler was the last real part of it. Hope he gets a good job somewhere else. Although I am sad that I won't be watching him come E3, since G4 always did have good coverage of that event.
No, gummy bears will be our compensation.
They really need to step up their game with Dead Space 3 if they want it to do well. The singleplayer for Dead Space 2 wasn't as great (although the characters were a lot better), just seemed like more of the same. Not to mention the broken multiplayer, one team of high rankers spamming Spitters won out every time. When Dead Space 3 does get announced, I'm really hoping for a completely new setting and some good changes.
They're kidding right? Comparing these two is just unfair, BD was alright, but the demo barely held my attention, needed more polishing if you ask me.
Is anyone else disappointed it's set in New York again? I was kind of hoping for another setting but oh well, the game will prolly still be damn fun.
You've invented enough. : P
Sure am hoping this ain't true. I got enough games to buy come Fall. I'd be damn happy with an early 2013 release date.
That is my only concern as well. I'll wait on purchasing the Season Pass (since I doubt they'll release anything before Mechromancer) till they clear up some things.
