i mean, you can up the prices all you want, but here in canada, it's already 80 for a new game. are you seriously gonna bump it up to 90 or even 100? if that's the case, you can bet your ass your sales are gonna drop and more and more people won't hesitate to buy used or wait for sales 1-2 years later.
they already listed the requirements and while it's expensive now, by the time they release(in the next 2-3 years) those components should be somewhat standard and affordable.

i only use my xb1 to watch youtube now. the games pass is a good feature but i didn’t continue it after the 14 day trial expired. halo is terrible now, but i have to say that i still enjoy gears horde mode. i got subnautica, which is a good game, but not a system seller. you knew ms was doomed when they let scalebound go.

i tried this game with the free trial of that games pass, and it was very underwhleming, tbh. i was actually excited about it going in since i hadn’t played the first one, but it seemd like everything i’d want in a zombie survival game. it’s very rough around the edges and just doesn’t make you want to keep playing. doesn’t help that they messed up the co-op progression so badly too.
it's a bit more different for games lol there are only so many devs that are actually capable of making good games, plus disney would have to completely steer clear of activision and ea. disney would essentially have to open up their own publishing division.
