i really don’t get what the big deal was about sony allowing pre-orders at the time they did. the vast majority of people, including you, weren’t gonna get one to begin with. people are essentially upset at just the THOUGHT of being able to get one lol people are just excited because it’s new tech. you don’t need one at launch and there’s not even a good reason to switch over to it from ps4 until next year sometime anyways.
i don’t buy kickstarter because of all the shit that never gets finished or just ends up being trash.

i was pretty excited for this game but not so much anymore. especially now with gotham knights and the ss game next year.

the writing in this game is an absolute slap in the god damn face for anyone that cared about the characters and story from the first game. the gameplay and all that is fun enough, but my god... they try so hard to hide their poor writing behind high production value, and almost succeed. i’m pretty sure any fan of the first game could have read the script and story during production and told them how horrible it was going to be.
i really hope they plan on making substantial updates to the next gen version of gta online. with all the money they’ve been raking in over the past near-decade, i’d expect a full character customization overhaul with improved gameplay mechanics among other things. it better not be some lazy, half-assed visual-only touch up. they owe it to their community, especially since they pretty much abandoned red dead online to keep milking gta online.
i think i’ll just wait to play it on the ps5 at this point. it’s already been delayed by over half a year now, and i’d rather play it at its best since it’ll only be a few months after current gen launch.
the game looks amazing but holy sweet mother of god, the writing/story was as bad as they said it was... the first game was one of the few sp games that i actually really enjoyed in the past 10 years and THIS is the follow-up? for the major event that happens pretty early on in the story, they sure did a horrible job and actually executing it. if you’re in it for the gameplay, it can still be a good experience, but if you actually cared about the story and characters from the first game, y...

i’ve been fine with graphics for a long time now, it’s just a lot of devs can’t/don’t push the limits of current gen. graphics only get a game so far anyways. gameplay over graphics any day of the week.
