I would also agree if things were like they were in the past.
I don't have a problem deleting a game install if I have it on disc and can just re-install it when I'm ready, but the problem with today's games is that a lot of the data can come from patches and updates.
I have a data-cap on my monthly internet service and re-downloading a 10-gig 'patch' to play a game again is massive.
Agreed. I started on normal but found it way too easy so started again on the hardest difficulty.
I just think of it like playing Dark Souls/Bloodborne (learn enemy moves, attack/parry with caution, etc.) and it's easier then those games. With all the potions, signs & gear available it's no problem.
Agree.
Mine's a 60" TV but my couch is about 12-feet away from it. It's pretty hard to see the tiny text from that distance.
I've been sitting on my other couch which is closer (about 7-feet) and I can see it fine there, but it's on an angle to the TV and I'd really like to sit facing my TV straight-on while still being able to read the text without squinting.
Good to know. I wasn't about to start over again just for that, but I thought about it for a split-second.
Same here. I played for a few hours and enjoyed my time, but when I loaded it up to play again my game lost count of the projectors I had restored and many items went missing. It was really a shame because I was looking forward to spending more time with it.
So I'm patiently waiting for a patch before diving in again.
@ kassler, neither did AC: Rogue and I never even missed it.
I'm personally indifferent to multiplayer since I never use it (crappy internet and all). I just hate it when a game requires you to play multiplayer to obtain a platinum trophy.
"But having said that, this might not directly be konamis fault, but the playstations licence system."
I think this is most likely the issue.
No company has ever gone so far as to do what Konami has done here (remove something entirely, never to be allowed to download again) so Sony's license-check system probably isn't set up to deal with this anomaly properly.
I'm guessing Sony will fix the problem soon, and I am *hop...
Anyone else see the title (Yoru no Nai Kuni) and think Ni no Kuni sequel? ;)
Anyway, this one looks nice. Looking forward to seeing more info.
Couldn't agree more.
I know people who are hopelessly attached to their mobile devices & social media - to the point of admitting to falling asleep practically every night gripping their phones. But they think *I’m* the weird one because I *don’t* pay attention to everyone else’s lives on media like facebook or instagram. It baffles me.
I swear it’s like if you’re not doing what everyone else is doing you’re strange & dysfunctional in some way.
Lol, yeah, whenever I see Del Toro's name attached to anything these days I just assume it's never actually going to happen.
Yep. At least some good will come out of this. :)
I'll say this; I'm a woman and I had a bit of a crush on Alistair in Dragon Age Origins when I played it years ago. He just had a personality I found very attractive.
Does that mean I was objectifying men? :P
There's something about this time of year that makes me want to go back and play DP again (even though I've already platinumed it). Is it the rainy spring weather? Or that it's close to anniversary of when it was released (on PS3)? Maybe.
And now I have that tune stuck in my head. Looks like I'll be playing through this again soon to get my DP fix, right Zach?
Bubbles? Ricky? Julian??
Lol, yeah, Leisure Suit Larry was the first thing to pop into my head. Man, that was sooooo long ago.
I remember playing (and loving) other Sierra games so I gave LSL a shot without really knowing what it was. I found out though! :)
Uh, this is not news this is just how retail works.
I thought we were done using The Order as click-bate for articles, but I guess not? I guess it needs to be bashed some more?
@opoikl, well said. I personally find myself going back to older music because I just don't like some of the new music out there. I don't remember the last time I spent money on music because I just go back to my old library of albums.
I can't be bothered with movies lately either. It's been years since I went to a theatre, the only things I watch are things that look like they *might* be good on Netflix, but it's been a while since my mind was blown by m...
Well, Daru made lots of sexually suggestive comments and was the resident 'perv' in the anime.
There weren't any major nude scenes or anything that stood out (that I can recall), but there was definitely lots of innuendo.
This would be an awesome feature, and I would hope it would work when remote playing a game too. That way I could finally remote-play Dragon Age (it's pretty much impossible to remote-play it since the attack button is R2... ugh).
I agree that ALL games should have the ability remap buttons.
I normally wait for all episodes to release before buying these games but I've made an exception for Tales Of Borderlands.
However, it's taking WAY TOO LONG between episodes. They released Game of Thrones the same time as Borderlands and GOT is already on episode 4 while Borderlands has only managed 2 episodes with no release date set for the 3rd.
I think I'll wait for them to actually finish the game before I play again. The episodes are over q...
