Yeah that is more accurate. Although the 'main' Mario games are mostly spread out over a decent amount of years so you can't get fatigued over yearly releases, and Nintendo generally puts effort into making every Mario game different. It's a different story with the spin-offs like Mario Tennis and Mario Party, but yeah.
Mario is a difficult example because he's basically a brand at this point!
I'm not sure, all franchises suffer from fatigue eventually.
It's crazy the amount of games that came out!
I agree, 2007 was an amazing year, not so fussed on 2008.
2011 is shaping up to be pretty great as well.
The TF2 community is welcoming, and the game isn't really dependent on twitch skills as it is on team work! You may like the energy class because he's fairly slow and strategic.
Lots of money I suspect, who can say no to the lure of a lovely hat?
I agree, it's been awhile. Once DOTA 2 is out (and I'm assuming it will be F2P) I reckon that'll get some crazy numbers.
Also, Steam says it it peaked at 87k, but it's bugged because it actually peaked at 92k.
It's difficult to say at the moment, but it looks like Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS is trying to get a happy middle between the two.
I didn't go into that, but those two are the exceptions really. Either way, Insomniac games are multiplatform now and after Gears of War 3 Epic can do whatever they want with the I.P.
good post
I got the impression that Jimmy mistakenly broke the game. When Cliff played the same segment at E3 it didn't anywhere near as long to shoot down that monster, but here he basically gave up.
I'll address both your points in one post Darkblood because I only have one post left!
The Twin Snakes had quite alot of changes and 'enhancements'. It incorporated all the game features that MGS2 had, so this includes: First person shooting, new guard A.I, new alert systems and the ability to sneak. This really changed how the game played compared to the original.
You're right, voice acting was completely redone. Additionally, the cutscenes w...
Probably, Twin Snakes was developed by Konami and Silicon Knights and released exclusively on the Nintendo Gamecube, so I suspect Nintendo own the rights.
Sounds like they're going to remake or 're-imagine' the original. They're not going to remake the Twin Snakes.
I don't think it's case of being hit or miss. It'll be successful, we just don't know what to what degree.
perhaps too strong, indeed.
It's the best footage we have so far.
After watching it: Yup, we knew the entire conference.
The Mass Effect 3 Box-art was found on EA's servers!
It depends on the franchise. Maybe using the life-span of a tv show is more accurate? Sequels improve the idea found in the original, but it soon runs into a creative draught?
