It's not an exploit, They are also carepackages what you didn't note was the decreased chance of getting anything better out of them, over their kill amount, chances are you'll end up with an RX-cd out've a sam CSP package. Also you have a decreased chance of getting those kill streaks as you cannot equip ghost with hardline pro. it's pretty balanced actually.
I'm not sure why so many people are willing to accept the shortcomings of a game so easily. Issues like these are VERY easy to fix (patch it so that full damage is an option from the start if you so choose) I'm not here to bash the game. But PD should listen to its fan's complaints and fix them accordingly.
Oh good, I have to play untold amounts of hours to get something that should have been a part of the beginning of the game anyhow. Many of us are willing to have a logical discussion regarding the merits and disappointments in the game. But this blind "GT5 IS DA BEST" bullshit needs to stop.
Actually, click on the link buddy, then go to the video with the Subaru in it. Then Youtube a real Sti. I rest my case.
Wow the car engine effects suck. I've got an STi (stock exhaust) and they just completely killed it. At least 40% of the game for me is hearing the surging engine and the whine of the turbo. Where exactly did they get the sound effects? Because even the PS2 NFS Hot Pursuit had more realistic growls.
I would have agreed had it not been for the slight to WAW ;)
lol, all I'm hearing from you is. "Gosh guys! why don't you stop being meanies!!"
The sheer arrogance of PD was the ultimate undoing for this game. Having their fans wait nearly 5 years for a true GT successor and then giving everyone the middle finger by porting ps2 cars is absolutely terrible.
There are in reality, 200 cars worth checking out in the game. I fail to see why this took five years to create. They should have just forgotten a...
@Masterchef
Please don't make excuses for the game. It should have been rock solid.. period paragraph, the end
I'm sort of confused why people can't seem to understand why the game is being reviewed so critically. Five years is quite a long time to wait for a game after the initial announcement. I think everyone expected just a bit more from the series. Its unfortunate that GT5 can even be compared to Forza seeing as that the PS3 has superior graphical horsepower.
The shitty "standard" cars the game comes with as well as the frame rate drops and screen tearing are ce...
Grenades are pretty hefty things to be honest. It would be like throwing a croquet ball as hard as you could at someone's face..
@Focker420
Whoa, calm down there kid. It's just an amusing story the guy recalls. I'm not sure why your acting like a jackass.
It agrees with my narrow viewpoint, therefore it is the best review I've ever seen!
Agree completely. Apparently, some people truly enjoy dying every 10 seconds as a result of getting shot in the back, or a random nade. I never liked small maps in the COD series, but this one takes the cake.
Shame you won't get a chance to enjoy one of the best shooters of the year. Your witnessing initial problems that nearly every shooter has when it comes out. Treyarch has proven that it listens to its fans and has been rolling out the patches quite steadily since the game's launch.
The dogs worked just fine in WAW. They were not one hit kills, yet managed to fetch me quite a few kills when all was said and done.
Treyarch made dogs 11 kills, so i suppose they feel as though the reward has to reflect the work it took to get it. (unless you get a carepackage haha)
I do wish the footsteps were more pronounced in the MP. It was great hearing someone sprinting to your position and greeting them with a face-full of lead because you knew exactly where they were coming from. Sound strategy truly did pay off.
Having said that, the other things the guy is talking about will be ironed out in the next few weeks. Millions of people flood the servers every day, and I think Treyarch was a bit unprepared for the volume. (should have done some more c...
@Meatpop
You know ,maybe if I was like, 12 years old I would agree with you. That would be the only time in which I could "never" experience MGS4.(mom would never get me a ps3 AND a 360!) Is there some sort of rule where you are no longer allowed to purchase another system once you've got the other one? Otherwise,I fail to see how the 250$ entrance point of the PS3 assures me that I will never see the game. It's a personal choice to keep my XBOX. I realize...
God, you kids really must have nothing better in your life to do than bitch about when someone dares insults your beloved MGS. There's even a comment on here managing to link the xbox with gamesradar. The article is meant to be humorous, nothing more. It's a well established fact that a lot of people (even those writing for established publications) felt as though the MGS series was getting progressively more "cutscene" happy. Several plot details could have been explaine...
@shiner
This was a one in a million shot, I'm not quite sure how your associating one kill with the rest of the game.
haters gonna hate.
hahah, that made me lol.
I would pay for that!
