They have passed a very similar law in Germany, the only difference is that they can only check your computer if you are suspected of some sort of "terrorism"

right there, that is pirating World of Warcraft, so yes, i have heard of people pirating it :P.
although I do understand your point, charging people to play games wouldn't work, there are always ways around things, and that would actually piss people off more than Securom 0_o;
so the only thing that this "security" accomplished was making it difficult for the people who actually bought it..

Gearbox did a great job on the 2nd and 3rd half-life games (hl: blue shift, and hl:opposing force) they did such a great job that valve actually kept the main character from blue shift and put him in hl2 :)
so (assuming that gearbox hasn't gotten soft) halo 4 may actually be better than halo 3 (which honestly isn't saying much, lol)
Ever tried MOH heroes 2 online? i have no problems playing it and guess what? MORE people are playing that at one time, up to 32 people! with NO lag, come on Nintendo, if EA can make their servers work with your system, you SHOULD be able to do the same... 0_o
p.. you can even add people to your friends on MOH, WITHOUT friend codes :)
p.s.s. seriously Nintendo needs to fix the crap servers for SSBB
currently with Ipods you CAN change the battery you just need the right kind of screwdriver :P probably the same with this, unless of course they glue it together (which would be even easier to open).
and the DSL/i are very easy to open, they have a battery cover for crying out loud
