Never played the original but I did hear it definitely had a cult following. I'll def give it a try.
Hell no. I wouldn't recommend this hot garbage. Just learn from your mistakes and don't fuck up again. Give us a PROPER BATTLEFIELD! Considering that DICE is a shell at this point and EA being EA...I guess that's a tall order.
I'll play because it will hold me till Diablo 4 come out but you bet your ass I won't be spending a dime on this game. And I refuse to touch the PVP. I've seen the gameplay videos...the whole "pay 2 win" is SUPER apparent here.
I'd rather buy my games because I like to own them. Still though the appeal of subscription services to the average gamer especially to casual gamers is completely understandable. Hope folks get to enjoy the games they may not have the time or money to buy outright.

No it's alot of the mainstream games that are getting boring. A Western open world RPG follow the same formula (Ubisoft....), no innovation across multiple game genres I mean i could go on.
Almost every flagship game now even established and beloved franchises have turned into money grabbing, lootbox, live service, battle royale filled pieces of absolute DOG SHIT.

As long a the game, story and character are interesting, non woke, non pandering, non virtue signaling, and it actually makes sense to have that kind of character to world and adds something to the world, surrounding characters, plot I'm fine. Don't care if they are gay or not.

I don't think we need to worry about that. Sony has been pretty good (not perfect) on new IPs. Better then Xbox that's for damn sure
