Have you been living under a rock? Even MS themselves have effectively stated this. Numerous times actually.
No they dont. Nintendo sells games and they know what their base wants. Why the hell would they make a subscription service if their games sell well. Same thing with Sony. Their games sell millions of copies so why would they bring their exclusive games to PSNow? Especially on day one.
Makes no sense for Nintendo to have a subscription service like gamepass. Or have their games on a subscription service day one.

I am well aware of the install base of the consoles and as I have stated before I understand perfectly that for the first couple years they want to continue support for the last gen consoles I am well aware of that and from a business perspective that's completely reasonable and understandable. But now its time to start slowing down last gen and more focus needs to be on current gen and thats a fact.

Sony has always pumped the quality exclusives since the PS1 days. So many absolutely unforgettable franchises that I find myself going back to even to this day back on PS1, 2, 3, PSP, and Vita. They have always published games I enjoy playing so much and I know they wont stop. Sony kills it with quality exclusives.
Rift is a good example of the next gen game. The game is goddamn gorgeous on PS5 especially with a OLED tv. I had to get the Platinum for that!
Love the rift tethering and combat. Been playing R&C since the second on the ps2 days but Tools of destruction was what REALLY got me into the franchise. R&C fan for life!

Pretty much. Most of the games I care about on PC and PS5 are not even avaliable on gamepass.
I saw this coming a long time ago, you can even check my comment history. I knew the price was going to go up because ost of games is increasing and gamepass is currently unsustainable.

Bingo. I have stated many times before that Gamepass currently is unsustainable and not where MS want to be. This is why they are so desperate for the Activision deal and why they are only buying up big name publishers.

Good. JP games have had a legendary influential effect on the gaming industry and is important. We need JP games to make a comeback. Games like Persona, Like a Dragon, Octopath Traveler, Xenoblade 3, Silent Hill 2 remake, Resident Evil are leading the way.

Hey hey whoa keep Sony out of that. At least their 1st party releases they don't release on day one and have some good classics to back it up on. Gamepass (at least on PC) is the one that has all the shovelware. At least EA and Ubisoft have a few games actually worth a damn. Gamepass is the king of shovelware for a subscription service.
