Sony had already back tracked on their statement when they announced Sackboy, Forbidden West and Miles Morales for PS4 and Jim Ryan avoided giving an answer when asked outright if GoW would be exclusive .

It thought GT was confirmed as a PS5 exclusive. I'm not at all surprised it's coming to PS4 though. I always thought it looked like a PS4 game. GoW PS4 was obvious

So optional purchase in games are bad but devs selling the same games to you over and over again is good. What's the logic behind that?
GTA V and RDR2 had stand alone stories and don't need them. However GTA IV had a multi part story which all weaved in and out of each other, that's why the DLC was necessary
I'm going to wait for the PS5 version. Pre ordered a console the other day. Should have it by the end of July.
The game was built for 8th gen consoles. Cancelling those versions won't change it in anyway.
