People raze on COD because it isn't a MP heavy game. A lot of people play it online but if you look at how the maps, guns/knifes, perks, leveling, and game length is set up then you would see that it's a cheep "pickup and play" game.
A game with a shit (opinion) SP and a "pickup and play" MP shouldn't be held as any type of standard (once more, opinion)
If this (and the video in the other post) is all to the game Im going to stay with 7.5 for my opinion for now.
It might be a gem, might not. I'll never know until it's in my hands.
At most a 7.5
What did I watch?
It looks like it could be worth a play but at the same time it gives me a bad feeling. Is it out soon or does it have more dev time?
The game is based on an 100+ year old book I think. The early game is very rigged against you with just about every bandit party having several muskets. Once you get a cash flow and buy armor you shouldn't have that much trouble if you use some tactics.
One word explains it all.
Wadda.
REMOVE HIM!
You have a point on it being more work for the player to control the story. Im just saying if any game lets the player chose the story then that game has no true story. It's like having a book with a beginning and end, but the middle is blank for you to fill in.
Letting the player control the story belongs in sandbox and nothing else in my opinion. It destroys the flow and pulls you right out every time one of those menus pop up.
Also "lazy" mig...
I didn't like DA:O.
Games that let you pick and chose every little detail about its story feel "off" to me. It makes the devs look lazy to me.
Sandbox games (Mount and Blade) are perfect for letting you chose a story. But, anything else makes it seem like the devs couldn't give the game its own story either by being lazy or just not able to.
Asking people outside of the norm is a great idea most of the time. It gives you a different point of view that you would have most likely have never seen.
Um, I may be wrong here but isn't Shadow suppose to be silver when going super?
I just hope that it stays a challenge. Once you learned where mobs are in Demon's Souls it becomes rather easy (opinion). Bosses on the other hand always kept their challenge, minus those few that had a god spot or could be sniped.
You do know that EDF: 2017 was made by Sandlot right? Sandlot isn't in charge of this game, Vicious Cycle is.
Sandlot is a niche JP dev that makes some of the best games Iv ever seen (opinion). If you have a PS2 you really need to find some of their games. R.A.D. (Robot Alchemic Drive) is easily in my top 5 games. Sandlot is all about the gameplay not graphics, and I love them for that.
I agree that the 8 man limit on groups was a bad move in MAG and it needed to be 32 max. But why the hell did you have to respond like a total ass and bring DLC into this? There is no why Zipper is going to charge for the clan wars or upping the group limit. They said it on their forums and (I think) in one or two of the Zipline podcasts.
Also the way Zipper does DLC in MAG isn't like most other games. Most other games you only download the DLC if you buy it. In Mag you d...
Zipper is working on upping the group limit in the next patch or 2 when clan wars come. (damn Trroy beat me to it)
Id also like to put out that neutral maps are coming in SUP and SABO soon (the 64 player modes). Zipper tested them last night by making the SABO maps neutral for a few hours. You should have see the forums when they slipped that in without telling anyone.
MNicholas said that it was old tech and I gave an example of how old it is and where you could get to see it.
Apparently the bubble system isn't working as intended.
People use these all the time in haunted houses. The bad part is the holograms can only be seen from a certain angle. So you would need a screen or filter for each person watching.
He earned the right to be called Sir. Don't forget it or he'll tip off his arm and beat you with it!
How much are you getting paid?
Not me. Cell shading may not be the best looking but it gives a game it's own look. Like Borderlands or The legend of Zelda: Windwaker , those games just wouldn't be themselves without those graphics.
I for one LOVE how this game looks so far. It gives the game its own look, and that's all that matters to me.
