Is this US only?
I'm a huge Killzone fan and love the graphics of this game. But I think in terms of color and some other things the first build was the best one. Look at the fifth image. The tone of the skin looks most natural to me and I think the composition of colors as a whole really fits the style of the game.
Nevertheless the last build is clearly improved on the tech. side. Please don't kill all my bubbles. It's just my opinion.
It does mean something like this: "Do not do to others what would anger you if done to you by others." ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Well the gameplay might be great, but I think most people have a problem with the art direction of this game (myself included). Although the painted look is great, the characterdesign and the whole setting is quite strange and might not appeal to western gamers so much.
The Gametrailers guy was not nearly es excited about the Horde Mode as the IGN guy. I really don't know what to think about it. IGN praised it like a masterpiece and Gametrailers said it's fun but not that great, a little bit repetitive etc. In my opinion the basic formula behind this Mode doesn't sound that great, just a lot of bots attacking you at a mp map. But maybe it's a lot of fun when you actually play it with your friends. Can someone please tell me how it feels, as I have not enough...
Does anyone know the name of the song in the second video?
But I don't think that it was the fault of the dev. team. There was a lot of pressure for them to release the game as quickly as possible, although it wasn't finished, because the publisher wanted to see some cash. Furthermore Gothic 1 & 2 were both great games with a huge fanbase here in Germany.
Nevertheless the new Gothic looks awesome. I hope it plays so as well, because graphics have never been an important selling point for this game.
p.s. I think the old dev. team is ...
This game looks absolutely stunning. But I don't think a console could handle these graphics. Actually I saw an early Xbox360-version at GC and it's still a long way to go. However those screens are a bit too small to judge.
Wow 88 pictures. I was at the GC and judging by what I saw, they had to take a picture of every single babe walking around there. Great work PCGH ;). I only feel sorry for the photographer. With being so busy to take pictures of that many babes, he had to ignore the games for one day at least.
Have a look at the website: http://grotesque-game.com/c... In my opinion this game sounds interesting (and does not look bad at all).
There is nothing a movie could achieve, which would not be possible in a game. But I also have to mention, that the influence of the player on the game will always be very limited. It does not make sense to create more than 2 or 3 main storylines, due to the fact that only a few players would experience more than one of them (waste of budget, loss of quality and so on).
Ok these tiny screencaps are BS. This is the real deal:

Call them Bullshots if you want, but everyone knows that this is how Crysis 2 will look like on PC. And from what I've seen the console graphics are not that polished, but also not too far away from these shots.
So don't worry about graphics. Crytek knows their business.
To judge the Gameplay we...
