I'm just glad now I don't have to entertain the idea of buying two consoles this holiday season. I'll get a PS4 and then wait for about a year to see what really happens with this Xbox TV, surveillance, media, game thing and its competitors Verizon, Comcast, YouTube, Apples iTV, Smart TVs, ect.....

I'll bet this new Xbox is an Apple TV competitor more then anything else. Of course we don't know exactly what the Apple TV is but I bet they're both headed is the same direction.

For fighting games all I use is, swing low, chop low, rob low. Works best on cyborgs.

What I hope is NOT true are these rumors of nextbox always online and mandatory Kinect. Internet I don't mind too much if it isn't using bandwidth, just verifying legit games but don't make me pay for a stupid camera I don't want to use.
Hopefully their fist game will be Wii Pu, a multiplayer game we can all play while on the toilet.
$70 day one maybe, then less and less as time goes by. No biggie, just don't buy day one and maybe they'll figure out $70 isn't gonna fly.

I found it interesting that some of these guys are disappointed in the lack of innovation input-wise. Look, I'm 41, been playing games along time. I don't want to stand around waving at the tv or wagging my controllers in the air or have the smell of gunfire squirt out of my controller as I play a shooter. I want to sit and play a game. That other stuff is fun in small bits but it really takes away from the immersive experience IMO. Look at movies. How much innovation has there ...
