I dunno, FFX was pretty awesome. Other than that, there hasn't been much of anything really good after IX.
I could also say that Pixeljunk Monsters is a Warcraft 3 Tower Defense (The game that started the popularized the genre) with a Pixeljunk skin.
On another note, I've played Crystal Defenders on my dad's iPod Touch... it's not terrible, but it uses the exact same skins and music from FFXII / FFXII Revenant Wings / FFTA2. I'm really, really getting tired of FFXII's universe, but then again I didn't even like FFXII itself.
Another day, another price drop rumor.
You're right, all you get is porn on Xbox. On the PS3 you just get perverts stalking any female avatars running about in Home.
Use a brain, troll.
It's nice to see Team Fortress on that list. Anyone who plays it on 360 or PS3 needs to just quit now and pick up the PC version, it's infinitely better.
Japan only, of course!
One problem. Advent Children was the definition of mediocre. There was hardly anything appealing about it, I would even go so far to not even call it a movie, but rather a cheap cash-in to appeal to diehard FF fans.
I'm sure you're right, but does it even matter? Blizzard has a habit of making allusions to hundreds of previous games, movies, or even TV shows in their games. I'm thinking this is more of a means of flattery rather than "ripping them off."
P.S.: You don't need to PM your comments to me. I usually check responses.
No. No. No. No. No. No.
Just no. We don't need more MMOs. I'm sure Betheseda would do a fine job, but so did Mythic and Funcom with Warhammer and Age of Conan, but neither even made Blizzard sweat.
Well I'm not going to buy this one until it his $25 or $30 so I wouldn't really mind coughing up a few bones for good characters.
Snap!
So what you're saying is that Lord of the Rings was the first of it's kind, and had no inspiration from previous fantasy sources?
Hope not, 3 consoles is too many already.
Since when is a site devoted to gaming supposed to do an article on real life controversies?
Oh and a controversy usually implies a dispute or debate. Colombine doesn't have two sides - the entire thing was an outrage, there were no supporters of that tragedy.
"Personally, I thought Echoes was the best of the trilogy. "
Finally, someone who agrees with me. Sure the ammo limitations were silly, but ammo was so copious it really didn't matter. Let's not forget how badass the Dark Samus fights were, with the exception of the final fight in Echoes those were the best fights of the trilogy. I can't believe she didn't get any representation in Brawl, not even her theme song was present.
All of these issues had gamers up in arms against whatever controversy it was. Particularly Celda and the Wii. People were saying that Nintendo was doomed upon both of these announces.
...lol.
I dunno man, I liked MP1 and 2 a lot more than the third. And it was the controls that mainly ruined 3 for me, and how you only got one beam. I mean sure that plays similarly to classic games, but bosses not having weaknesses to exploit wasn't as fun. Instead it seemed as though MP3 was a contest of how fast you can mash the A button (Or B).
Just dusted off my PSP 2 days ago after finding the original buried in a Circuit City aisle. I haven't had this much fun on a handheld since Professor Layton!
Chocobo...is...too...cute... (Click on the pic from the site)
I gotta ask, is that a Valkyria Sackboy? If so, that is truly epic win.
And yes, Ubisoft confirmed RS2 not that long after the original was released. I guess if it uses motion plus it might be decent.
