I am now a pc gamer(including Onlive). I buy most of my games on sale. Today I just bought Payday the heist on amazon for $5. I still like consoles though because I can sit down and relax with a controller. Most pc games do not support gamepads.
Nowadays most games go on sale within 3 months. So I don't pay full price. I also always expect DLC.
The Wii Motion control were nice. Kinect was also. PS Move not so much.
Vita looks like a mans toy.
I also think $180 is the sweet spot. The Vita is too expensive for 3ds type sales.
update: I am not saying it is not worth $250. I am just saying I think it is not going to take off at $250. Especially with the memory card and game prices. If I were sony I would sell it at cost and make money from psn network.
Why keep hyping up Dice? A lot of the games they make feel unfinished. Especially Medal of Honor.
my ps3 broke years ago and I just bought a new 51" plasma.
should I get another ps3? or just get new a vita? decisions decisions....I was also thinking of just waiting for the Wii U.
back in the Playstation 1 days? even then it was not that great. Top Gear for Snes was a lot more fun.
Rumor is the are going to use a resistive touchscreen.
Sony could have been the Samsung of today, but they just couldn't do it with that business culture. Now with Kazuo Hirai as CEO. I think things will change.
