I think of all the characters, Ada would be the coolest. Krauser would be a close second, though.
I actually discuss in the article how I agree with all the criticisms. This has nothing to do with "having my feelings hurt" and everything to do with a developer either misunderstanding what its game is trying to accomplish or making a cheap jab at a more successful franchise that isn't its direct competition.
You can enjoy both. This article has nothing to do with not being able to enjoy both. Maybe you should read articles AND headlines in the future. :)
I appreciate that you took the time to read the article before posing your question. I'm sure we both know how annoying it is when people read nothing but a headline then jump straight into the comments to bash the author without even taking the time to understand his opinion.

Possibly, but Capcom could have just given us a similar setting (a floating island) but let us wander around, kill enemies, level up, and buy stuff, just to feel that sense of progression. What we got instead seems like Capcom was rushed to churn out a demo to meet a deadline they forget about.
