I think GH3 might suffer against Rock Band since every single person I know is picking Rock Band over GH3, and you can thank that to the MASSIVE advertisement of Rock Band as the "real" successor and evolutionary step from Guitar Hero 2
And I dont see people spending around +300 bucks for both >.>
I actually feel somewhat disappointed with UT3 graphics after playing the demo on max, the graphics are a few miles away from the cool pictures they use to promote it specially the character models they are not as sharp and defined as the renders they constantly show
I hope its a demo only thing and that they are NOT sacrificing the quality they promised (and keep promoting) just to make the game run faster and in lower spec machines

I think the author needs a new pair of glasses having downloaded the demo and turned the graphics to the max it has a INSANE level of detail in the characters and one of the best uses of the UE3 to date
I just hope it can live up to Undying
If this is REALLY happening I expect the price to be a little bit higher than expected and since there are more cheaper 360 SKUs I dont expect this one to sky rocket in sales making this new SKU the PSX of last generation, remember the PS2 with a LOT of extra features a heavy price tag that nobody really bought cuz of the cheaper PS2 option.
The ONLY thing that really puts some doubt in this is the inclusion of the "free" upgradeable HDD, I find it VERY hard to believ...

THE_JUDGE: I think its a matter of distribution rights and it all points that who holds those rights has the power to release it on the format they see fit
I find it HILARIOUS that people have just recently started noticing and writing articles about this, different distributors depending on location is a VERY old practice when releasing movies in different locations and in this "war" the "distributors" are the ones that seems to hold the key for the format it was going to be released and its a no brainier
For example there are movies that in the US are being distributed by FOX = Blu ray exclusive but overseas ...

I think we are reaching a point that the prices are becoming unacceptable specially since now a days gamers seem to buy in generous quantity cuz of the quantity of consoles owned and the INSANE amount of games released so close, for example if you had to pop you 59.99 maybe each month or so it would be (sort) of ok BUT now you have to pop your 59.99 sometimes SEVERAL times in a single month, hell just look at this november if you want to have the latest titles you have to spend BIG

I think the people over at Konami are probably more confident and calmed about sales of MGS4 now that the PS3 has lower prices
cuz even at the old PS3 price point MGS4 was a SURE system seller, now with the new ones everyone that had doubts about getting the game cuz PS3 price tag will be picking this one up for sure
