Microsoft obviously cares about it, or they wouldn't attempt to sell the 360 internationally. Stop using the "I don't care" excuse because you actually should. The X-Box is part of the world market now. The fact that it doesn't sell well in Europe and even worse in Japan means that sales for the system will eventually cap out. Its pretty simple. As cool as Natal is (technically speaking) it isn't redefining or redesigning anything.
When people see the Natal commercials, the average person watching (which will be casual gamers, they make up most of us) will think to themselves...

Your wrong. The Gran Turismo franchise alone outsells every single one of them and 5 isn't even out yet. None of those games you mentioned people off the street are waiting for, and that was my original point.

The Slim won't kill the 360, but from here on out you will see a spike in PS3 sales. Its something that Xbots don't want to admit at all to themselves.
360 will sell just like normal, unfortunately the 360 doesn't have system selling franchises, just a few franchises that sell well to its demographic. Halo is a perfect example. Halo will not make someone buy a 360 if they never played the game or had it before. Most of the people playing it now have been playing it since the X-Bo...

If you didn't read the article then why are you commenting on it?
All this means is that developers will take the PS3 more seriously. Hopefully this means we will see more high quality games like KZ2 and Uncharted 2 become the norm one day, because it would be in their best interests to do so once the PS3 install base rises.
By the way, where are all the X-Bots? Haven't heard to much from that crowd since Wednesday.

Its what happens when you know you have a commercial success. You start acting like a jack ass knowing people will still buy your product. Musicians and actors do and so do video game publishers.

I'm sure Halo ODST will sell well. To bad it will be more of the same. Thats the main reason why I stopped playing Halo online after Halo 2. Tried Halo 3 but wasn't impressed. Have you noticed that both of the new Halo games are both prequels??
I find it funny that not even a survey conducted by a well established gaming magazine can stop X-Bots from spinning the results.
Have you noticed that the closer we get to GamesCon, the more you see articles that just bash Sony for no reason? If they introduce the slim, or drop the price,we all know that an affordable PS3 will sell regardless of what you might think.

If your going to post game lists, please post games that the industry and gamers actually give a s**t about. Just because a game is good to you doesn't mean its worth anything in the whole.

This is the main reason why Sony will pull out of this financial crisis. They already have the content, now all they need is the install base. A cheaper PS3 will do that for them, because we all know that millions of people will buy a $300 PS3. The current price now is to much for someone to spend during a recession.
