Gotta love when a publisher forces a studio to stop what they've been pouring blood and tears into for years and work on something else.
I hope this doesn't fall into the same trap as LA Noire with unnecessary action sequences insultingly easy puzzles.
I have no hope for this game being good.
This is why we can't have nice things. Everything has to have a million sequels whether it needs one or not. TLOU was great and it ended in a way that didn't need a story, but nope, gotta chase that money!
Nicolas Cage
Add it to the list. David Hayter, Michael Ironsides. Now Kevin Miller. What makes companies think voice actors are expendable?
Very disappointed with how Sony has treated Jak and Daxter. I'm glad its not getting a sequel every year, but we haven't seen anything out of the franchise in almost a decade.
The Legal/Copyright/Trademark situation in the United States is broken beyond belief. You can get sued for literally anything in this country these days. They should count themselves lucky that no legal action was taken, who the hell knows how it would have went in court.
Oh boy, we've gone from everything being the death of PC gaming, to the everything being the death of consoles.
"We don't want to sue everyone, we just want to make money we don't deserve. The best way to do that, is to sue, get it?"
I love what Yahtzee has to say, and I agree about what he has to say about next gen consoles. But he's really starting to turn into a PC elitest, isn't he?
Still think motion controls and touch screens are the future of gaming?
It was a very good game with a great story, unfortunately let down by insultingly easy puzzles. I had no problem with the UI or controls.
Remember when Valve made video games? Man, those were the days...
I know this is hard for hipsters to admit, but sometimes things are traditional because they work, not just because we're "afraid of change".
Huge improvement. Placing the four buttons around the touchscreen like they did in the previous version made no sense, glad they addressed it.
Big business wins again! Crush the consumers and take everything from them!
This is why episodic gaming doesn't work.
Storytelling doesn't need to be episodic. I've never seen a case where episodic anything has helped a story, including Telltale's TWD.
Remember in stealth games when you didn't have to turn off the ability to see through walls? Those were the days.
