Of course it was because there was never any murder or vandalism before Grand Theft Auto, right? That all started after GTA was first released.
Considering that they are opening a second studio, I assume we are going to start seeing new IP's from it while the original studio continues to focus on Resistance and Rachet.
There is so much irony in that 4th video, that it is absolutely hilarious.
It downloads in sections, so you can play the first section while the second one is downloading. You can also delete any section you are done with to save space, and just re-download it from the store when you want to play it again.
They said they are having to limit the visual affects in 4 player split screen so as to keep the frame rate up. So in single player they are keeping the frame rate but upping the visuals.
I am really sick of people complaining about all of the downloading and installing. Yes it is annoying but it allows you to keep your game without being forced to give up 9 gigs of space. I think the uses of the design outweigh the annoyances.
What I am most excited about is co-op level creation. I really am not all that artistic but I am really good at designing machines. I hope that I can build all my crazy contraptions and send them to somebody else who can incorporate them into a level. That being said I have a pretty good idea for a Shadow of the Colossus level, which I think will work nicely.
The article was actually written by PSM3 a PS3 magazine.
Ted Price said that he almost died in the middle of the demo because he got caught on a couch and was about to be crushed by the Leviathan. You can get more details at the Full Moon podcast. I do agree with you that being thrown that far and walking away is a little ridiculous, but so is getting shot up with a bunch of bullets and then recovering within minutes and without medical aid. Plus they say that the code for that boss fight is not even completed yet, and more environmental hazards...
Scores are pointless, the important part of the review is what is written not the number tacked onto the end. The only reason I go to Metacritic is because I can easily access large numbers of reviews and make judgements off them.
I knew that was going to happen, I just couldn't resist the opportunity.
What does that say about you?
I'm glad the trees put up some resistance to being destroyed. I was worried that they would just break to pieces at the slightest tap from a monster truck. I was especially impressed in the first video when the driver crashed into a tree, but the tree did not break until another driver crashed into him.
They get to add extra trophies when they release an expansion. They have already hit their current maximum.
Just download it, if you are worried about space you can just delete all the episodes except the first one and re-download it whenever you want to play.
I wouldn't say the winner had the best trailer, but it certainly has me interested in the game.
While XBL is currently the best, I think Home could change that. Even if the 3d aspect of Home ends up flopping there is supposed to be a 2d aspect, which should be similar to the dashboard, as well (I think 2.40 was the beginning of implementing 2d home). So at the very least Home should close the gap with XBL (if it ever comes out).
While this is quite clever, it is something that was done last generation. You could transfer your weapons from older Rachet and Clank games, to newer ones, and if you had made it to a certain point in the first Rachet and Clank, you got an employee discount on weapons in the third one. Still it is a great way to get people to play earlier games in a series, and I hope more games start to incorporate it.
Just pick up a VISA gift card. It should work just as well.
You might as well just say that you hate this entire generation of consoles altogether.
