well actually 3DS is somehow a passive 3D.
I do not (personnal opinion) think 3D will bang anytime soon, as long as people have to wear stupid sunglasses in their room.
3DS doesn't require anything to play (does it?).
And it's actually more of a depth feel than real 3D

no, a lot of PC gamers buy their games, otherwise PC market wouldn't be growing.
Take it the other way around, console games sell less & less everyday, some publisher accuse DS, and xbox torrents plague the internet...

I can see this trend growing. Valve's games are released on mac, linux will follow. Some games are clearly designed multi plateform (win+mac os).
