Very few have the cash, experience, budget, engine, staff and patience that rockstar do. You're not going to find a publisher who can step into rockstar territory, with a 6 year plan. Many want quicker results, and also step into a space where a game can be released every 1-2 years.
I got Firewatch yesterday, and finished it. I like it. It was interesting, and well thought out.
I think i'll start playing AW american nightmare or QB today. I liked AW, despite getting a bit lost plot wise, and i liked QB game and tv until i lost my save. I like Remedy as they will continually try something different until they get there.
It probably is. Xbox miss a trick by noy playing the america card in the same way sony play the japan card.
There were 2 protagonists in the first RDR. I'm sure it will work, especially as the characters will hopefully be more serious than in gta. The location of the characters could also add diversity to the game.

Nintendo have huge exclusives. There's no point in them releasing a machine to rival xb1 and ps4 at this stage. They need something unique and affordable, which the switch will be. It's selling point is predominantly its own i.p's.
Have both consoles. Team xb1 have been more generous by a considerable distance. It's not even close. Don't care about motives. Another great deal for xb1 punters.
CDPR don't know the date. Game is too big to predict. If i had to guess i'd say late 2019.

I think Joel will be dead, but still plays a role throughout much of the game, to the extent many people don't know any better.
