Yeah but if you believe vgchartz their actual console sales have been up yoy by double digit percent. So their actual revenue is down from that percent at 2%. So revenue doesn’t paint the picture you would expect.

It’s no wonder they are selling their games on steam after the loss of profits from game pass. It’s easy to imagine that on their own platforms sales of there own games have dropped to near zero. And it’s extremely likely that having a service like game pass motivate people away from buying third party games as people just play the games on game pass and just hope the other game they want to play will come to the service eventually.

I’m pretty sure micro transactions were coming either way. It’s how Microsoft makes back their money after giving away the games on game pass.

If the reason the graphics are dialed back that much is to get 120fps I’m beginning to doubt the actual power of the console. That was like pc low for normal games and the geometry is so simplistic.

I have found it hard to believe that 343 would actually make such a bad looking game, even I find it hard to believe they could be that incompetent.

But after all this not showing console gameplay I am starting to think all this power they keep talking about ...

Why would they use old footage for their most important showcase the highlight of the whole show? Especially if the build was a month old and the new build was so significantly different.

I dunno, I’m pretty against shoehorned multiplayer. If you’re going to make a coop game do it from the ground up.

Why, they have a popular formula. I’m not saying only make this series forever but they should absolutely make another game or two if they keep selling. If they can strike gold they can increase their studio and produce more games.

I imagine making a second game will still be fun don’t push it to burnout but I have to imagine they are on high for Ghost of Tsushima 2.

Well to be fair Halo will have mtx to pay for development just like Star Citizen. The two funding methods are pretty much the same the only difference is how the two are presented to the public.

Here’s my prediction. I bet they make a new demo tailor made to look nice and trick people into thinking they have changed the whole game in a month or two while leaving the other 99% of the game that won’t be in the demo unchanged.

I predict them showing a new grunt model but all the other enemies will look the same. They’ll alter the trees but all the other plants will be the same. Stuff like that, just enough to make a new demo for the next show.

The sad fact is it’s going to be GaaS so they can release it unfinished crap that no one will complain because it’s on gamepass just call it beta like Grounded then spend the next 10 years using mtx to fund the other 90% of the game.
