If I had a say, I'd rather have better physics, AI, customization, and overall more gameplay mechanics in my games than just more pixels. That's just my opinion. It's fine looking at a nice 'picture', but if there's only so much you can do with said picture then what's the point? There are art galleries all over the world and literally every movie that allows you to look at nice pictures.

I know I'm gonna' get hate for this but IMO Skyrim was not that good. Sure it got a few things right but Skyrim was incredibly shallow. I have a suspicion that some people only think that Skyrim is great because of it's scale and that it gives you 'alot' to do. If I had to compare the game to a restaurant, it would be a large, yet cheap buffet.
For some reason everyone loves talking about Rez when it comes to consoles, but the moment PC shows up to the party everyone wants to rage. Resolution is nice to have, but I would rather have: better AI, better/more customization, better physics, better gameplay.
Imo, Killer Instinct looked fine before, I couldn't have cared less if it jumped to 900p or even 1080p, it would be a good game regardless.
