I played WoW for a year before PS3 came out, then I quitted and started playing PS3 games instead. Was no problem at all. But I guess that's not the same for every person.

Why did you buy a Battlefield game for single player? The single player is more of a bonus if anything.
I would, I rarely pirate games, and if I do it's only because I'm in doubt if it's worth my money or not. I've bought over 100 games only the last 2-3 years. But I am not giving my money to Valve. I'd rather not play the game at all.

Well, I managed to put several thousand hours into UMS maps in the original before I actually started going hardcore 1v1 and 2v2. So as someone who is just playing it randomly for fun it's still immensely fun!
I would normally react on this, but it is Starcraft after all. I'm just happy they didn't make us pay a monthly subscription fee.
