They need to establish update parity between both consoles.

Definitely interested in trying out the Switch port at some point.

At this point, it's almost a given that FFXV will be on PC. Probably not at launch, though.

This is actually already the case with Killer Instinct and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

Don't you guys get tired of using the same clickbait title for every other news story?

Disappointed with the pared back foliage and inconsistent performance in the ps3 version. At least the image quality is on par.

It may actually be a XBO/PC only title, like Titanfall. MS could allow the PC version to benefit from Azure, while locking the game as a console exclusive in return.

That's gotta hurt!

"as much as Rasheed’s track record is quite solid"

You don't say!

At the very least, it's factual information, which is more than what I cuold say for those Tidux 'rumors'.

Wouldn't surprise me if this is true. There are already so many Xbox One launch titles confirmed to be running at 720p.

Fantastic lighting, but what's up with the aliasing? Is this the final build?

Well said, @purp13m0nk3y.

A steady frame rate is what I've always wanted from console games. If Microsoft makes this an easy solution for developers to use as a standard, it would certainly make me a happy gamer.

This footage is from the single-player, though, which runs at 30fps.

It's a reworked library with new tools for game developers to work with.

1. More SDRAM doesn't do anything for the GPU. The GTX 650 has 2GB GDDR5 of available memory, whereas far greater VRAM is available to the PS4.

2. The PS4's GPU is actually more powerful than a Radeon HD 7850.

The placement of components does make sense, though. In that context at the very least, it's probably going to be similar. Valve says its prototype machine is 2.9 inches tall. For an Nvidia Titan to fit in there, it'd have to be positioned horizontally.

The definition of input lag certainly hasn't changed. Although what has changed is the fact that BF4 is a 60fps game. Heavenly Sword hardly managed to maintain a steady 30fps. Much of the delay in the latter could be owed to inconsistent performance.

The lag doesn't seem to be coming from the game itself. It's either the display or the controller. Display lag on TVs usually isn't as bad as what we're seeing here, especially for a 60fps game.

Looks wicked! I have one of these cases. Wish I knew someone who could give it a similar mod.
