Microtransactions are already a staple in the industry. Its not going anywhere. If then entire industry does it there isnt shit we can do about it. It wont stop us from trying. But if every company does it, it is unlikely it would change. Are you going to stop playing video games if it happens? Nope. You wont. Sad but true.

Who came out with what tech doesnt really matter. Those particular restrictions did not really affect me so I dont care about that. I like the small features kinect brings to the table and looking forward to using it with my family. The extra missions for ac4 and WD doesnt really matter to me either. I get early access to dlc for multiple games I actually plan to play. Ill get over the exclusive destiny content.
Killzone has never been a game id choose to play. So obviously for me thats not a selling point. Infamous on the other hand had me sold... until it was confirmed to not be a launch title. Xbox one all the way for me.
Why would they pay anything more for your kinect then they already do? Its all about supply and demand. They have a shit load of kinects. Which means the supply is stupid high. No one wants it. Equals no demand. You can be mad at gamestop all you want but dont get mad because they wont give you what YOU think is a fair trade value. 20 bucks for a kinect is over paying.

If xbox fails there will be no reason for sony to try as hard as they are. Thats why we see games like madden and call of duty not break the mold. No competition.
