Its not the developers decision, the publisher decides at the start of development they want to release a game lets say in the first week of November without consulting the developers to see if that is even possible.

Yea they can move consoles during the holidays to close the console sales gap but overall I think they lost most of the high volume customers who buy games year round to Playstation.

Huge difference if games are run completely in the cloud or not. We have seen cloud based streaming services before such as OnLive and Playstation Now. But to think developers can program games to maybe sometimes run on the cloud or sometimes run locally is ridiculous.
