I had lost some interest in this game for a while, but after watching this demo, it all has come back! I'm really looking forward to playing it!
P.S. I hope they have some good music on radio or i will find the radio station and plant a bomb and make it blow up. Lol
I have to disagree with you...FFXII's story is great because it wasn't about the typical "oh here's a guy that wants ultimate power and wants to destroy the world". it's a more war/political theme story type. They also tell you a lot more about Ivalice if you walk around and talk to people in the game which is a fan service for the hardcore Vagrant Story and FF Tactics fans(like me).
And the combat isn't much different than other FFs that all you do is press X to beat a boss.....
The art style and music is a lot like FFT, which is good. And the combat is like a twist between a traditional RPGs(ATB) and FFXI plus gambits ...What more can i say? I'm a fan of originality.
Anyway, back on topic...for me this is really old news...don't ask me for links 'cause i remember it from some interviews done last year about Nomura looking when the team was testing the airships for the first time and stuff. so if the game has the airships and open world gameplay from tra...

Fanboy hype, media hype and dev hype... I can ignore the fanboys easy, but when it comes from the media of the devs themselves, it's hard to know if the game will be worth getting or not. That's why i like demos, renting or reading few reviews before buying a game (unless it's a sequel like MGS4 or R2 that i know i will enjoy playing).
It's kinda hard to get scared when you have rocket launchers in your inventory but hopefully it'll be a great game.

You can beat any MGS games without "killing people".
I think Dead Space is gonna be good. not as good as the other games coming out this fall but still worth playing.
