I've been playin this game all day and it's GREAT. Much better than an 8.75. Of course I stopped relying on Gameinformer reviews when they gave MW2 pretty much a perfect score.
(BTW, anyone who gets LA Noire, turn off the clue hints. It makes it so much more challenging and rewarding)
This is one game where I'm not reading ANY reviews before I get it. I only read reviews to help me decide if I'm gonna buy a game. Since I already know I'm getting this one, the only thing reading a review would accomplish would be spoiling parts of the game.
They added the hammer to the Trenches map last week, and it was exactly as they said in the article. (aside from the "radar" bit)
One of my friends had the beta code for 2 weeks and never tried it, even though I told him it was fun.

As sad as I am to see it end, they really had great timing since LA Noire comes out tomorrow.
Call of Duty 4 was so good. Everything since then has just spiraled down to trash

Did nobody play mass effect 2? The disc swapping wasn't even a big deal.
Oh my god, who cares. I have Red Dead Redemption on 360, my brother has it on PS3. They look EXACTLY the same, as I'm sure this will too. Ad if it doesn't I still don't care because it's gonna be badass anyway.
I love how people think high sales=high quality. This game will probably sell millions of copies but that doesn't mean it's the "best". By that logic the Wii is the best console, and we all know that's not true.
I'm not buying COD anymore, I might rent it and beat the 4 1/2 hour campaign, then play the multiplayer for about an hour until the glitches start popping up, then I'll take it back.
I doubt they actually played the game, they just know it's gonna be great and wanted their review up first. In the review he doesn't say anything we don't already know.
This list has to be the saddest thing I've seen all day. So many great games not getting played because everyone is brainwashed by COD.
I stopped reading the article when I got to this sentence:

I just couldn't stop laughing...
The way I see it, the interrogations are what's gonna make or break this game. The facial tech is really cool, but if they make it too obvious a when a person is lying...
But I have faith Team Bondi and R* know what they're doing.
The only way I'll buy madden is if they skip a year and use a 2 year development cycle... and since I know they won't, I'm not buying.
He should have just said " beta impressions". "Beta review" just sounds idiotic.
I think the gun is what ruined the multiplayer for me. It was fun until everyone just started going to the rooftops shooting each other.
This article fails for 3 reasons:
1) It's Saturday, and nothing happened.
2) No Ocarina of Time, Shadow of the Collosus, Mass Effect 2, or any Metal Gears or GTA's?
3) LBP... Really?!
