I deleted the update and have not had anymore problems with the game.
By the looks of it,the patch may be the problem,my first play was without the patch and I had no problems,the I install the patch and started having problems,now I uninstall the patch I'm at the Bear lvl and have had no problems,I'm loving it.

I'm 99.99% sure you did not play HR,your plot holes claims comes from those Reviewers who wanted to do inconsistent choices in the game and expected to end up with a perfect ending,by playing the game ounces.one of the DLCs is the taxidermist,witch I'm sure you guys remember the video of Madison braking into a house,so...no plot holes in this game.
