Ill hold that purchase till mass effect 3 comes out later that year, by that point itll be pretty cheap.
I will hold on purchasing mass effect 3 til 2012, since it´ll probably have the complete edition or something, i mean they pretty much done it, with every game so far.

uncharted is a 2007 engine, against an engine that is used today(unreal), cos is updated to no end.
This gets you thinking how ahead of epic the ND engine really is by 2007.

Dude youre missing the point, Gameplay =/= Setting.
FPS havent advance in the gameplay department since counter strike, sure theres balance in the weapons, but its just the same.
What set portal and mirros edge appart from this common status quo, was that they didnt need weapons, ergo staying away from the 1000 first person games coming out in recent years.
Its actually fair to say that the gamplay aspect of a FPS is generenic when 10 or more...

Mass effect is actually a "third" person shooter with RPG elements, and what set mass effect apart was not the shooting mechanics(cos if you played the game like a soldier youll realize that the game was pretty generic). What set mass effect 2 appart was the force like powers you could play with, the party system, the plot, and the caracters, get youre facts straight.
BTW you have to compare ME to another FPS, no TPS.
Ok, i dont care if you like BF more , i liked ME a lot, is a unique game, that deserves a sequel, cos theres nothing like that game and god knows first person needs to move on from shooter and explore more options.
