This web site really has alot going for it to be really amazing I mean the news I pick up from here is way ahead of anything that the people I know hear about. I mean I can tell them stuff I hear on here and they are amazed I know all this crap before it hits the mags and alot of "mein" stream web sites but.......and here it comes lol alot of the people on here take this console war way to personal. Gaming threads end up being flame wars and hardly any talk of the actual game takes ...

why does everyone keep posting that same link to the one preview lol the very same week infact that the preview was posted there was 2 more on here that said it looked exactly the same on both systems(pc looked better) heck even the devs said they looked the same on both systems. Look back in the posts here around the same time as that one and you'll see what Im talking about. This is why the american market is important this puts the 360 at a global sale this week back infront of the ps3. It be interesting to see how the bundle pack(which I have spotted places) will effect sales along with the ps3 price cut and new sku. I wonder why it isnt mentioned that the holiday premium pack has hit the shelves to cause at walmart.com they have them for sale and I have seen them at my local walmart to?
What I mean by that is the non fanboys on here are looking at it from a middle standpoint and see that although the ps3 price cut has come in to effect the actual sales have decreased(I remember lots of people saying how these numbers would be far better than last times cause the price cut would be in effect longer). I think the reason why the ps3 was labeled as doing so bad is because in the last gen it was king way out infront of everyone and people expected it to do the same this time round. The thing is even though its selling roughly what the 360 was you have to remember that
1 there was 360 shortages for a long time I have yet to see any ps3 shortages.
2 There has been a price drop that got sales going again in its first 8 months with a nother following along with there blue ray offer...
Is it games that are coming out and not already out is that what there listing. What about all the games already out I mean you have to look at that to when making a purches lol. Anyway yes this was a little fanboyish lol but then again its a ps3 mag and it would put the spin on it just the same as a 360 mag would lol.
I be disappointed if the ps3 didnt look slightly better than the 360 being the 360 version came out early on in the 360 life span and the devs have had over a year to tweak the ps3.
If you look at the vgcharts and compare them to the npd you can see that they were real close to the 360 but actualy overtracked the ps3 numbers. The reason I point this out is because theres a couple of people on here who keep saying how vgcharts always over track the 360 and under track the ps3 well this will be the 3month in a row where that just isnt true. I know vgcharts did over track the 360 2 months in a row at the start off the year but since then they have been pritty close. Anyway ...
I think with these numbers for this month and probably the carry on effect into next the ps3 will have to sell a MASSIVE amount the next 2 months for them not to be in third place for number of units sold in 2007(actual year). 2007 has been a good year for ms lets hope it caries on through the christmas period. On one hand you have a ps3 for 399 with spider 3 or you have a 360 for 349 50 bucks cheaper with 2 games that equal 70 or 80 bucks. Now is a price cut going to have more effect than a bundle or with christmas and games being so high will the 2 free games be more of a deciding factor along with the momentum the 360 has. This is great news for sony they have needed something like this for a while now. It also shows how badly they need to bring the price cut over here cause although they outsold the wii and 360 in eu they were behind in total global sales for that week.
