Fair points on the story, but this new DLC really worked on that. It did a good number on the story progression.
To catch up on the FULL story of destiny, check out some channels in YouTube that dedicate to the lore. My Name is Byf and Meylin Games have done a great job at explaining everything. As you start playing the game, you'll familiarize with the dynamics of the story that tie in to the gameplay. Download the official APP and you can easily matchmake with other players in coop activities for the more difficult content.
It really shows you haven't played it in years lol. Their lore and story have expanded so much. I'm actually invested in the story now. This dlc was fun to play because the story dropped some massive story elements. Playing it on legendary also kept it more engaging

That was my surprise hit for 2021. From the great story, character development, lore, and soundtrack. I still listen to the music as a matter of a fact. So underrated!!!
I feel like all these acquisitions just helped their value go up. 70 billion for Activ and 6 for Bungie. Ubisoft is thinking "we're worth 70 billion too" share holders will jump ship the minute they see that big stack in front of them
