You’re out of your mind if you think that’s the first time that’s been done in a game lol. TLOU is full of Bad writing

Nothing is done without a purpose. Why were there so many changes done to the core characters? The first game is now completely different than part 2 in regards to character development and attributes. This game went full SJW. It wanted to deliver a message and it’s nothing about revenge, that’s just the anchor. The game has the same core gameplay mechanics as the first, just more refined because of the PS4 capabilities. The first game was about hope, love, violence, and dire consequences. Th...

“Not afraid of Shaking things up” see I can’t stand when directors make this decision and abandon the source material and established characters. All for the sake of shaking things up. “Subverting expectations” usually means bad writing.

Plot holes? How about the fact that Joe was established as someone who trusts NO ONE, but somehow is tricked into trusting Abby? The fact that Joe as parent to Ellie did what he had to do in part 1 because he loved Ellie was never resolved here. Joe died as a nobody in an effort to have us sympathize with Abby. Ellie became a parent, but still couldn’t grasp the reasons behind Joe’s decision in the first game. Abby could have killed Ellie way before their last confrontation but did not happe...

GOW is about revenge too, since the beginning

Ay least he’s not cringe unlike that troll Greenberg

GOW is my PlayStation game of the generation. It respected the source material, yet delivered a true sequel. Best of all It stayed away from political agendas. Pure unadulterated hardcore single player game

“Deeper” doesn’t mean better lol it’s full of plot holes and erases everything the first game established. GOW was crafted masterfully and had more replay value.

Of course video games are meant to be played. But that doesn’t mean you NEED to play it to understand what it is about and how it plays. In today’s world. There’s twitch and you tube to give you a very define idea of what the game can do. You can totally base an opinion from that. Same goes with film. I think where your opinion stands more ground is on virtual reality gaming.

Lol soon as I read “underestimate” it immediately clicked on my mind lol

Well good for you. The game was successful because it was riding on the amazing success of the first game. Simple as that. It’s high in quality, that’s for sure. It’s a PS exclusive after all. But it’s not perfect. As for value. That’s subjective. I’ve played hours upon hours of COD and Destiny. I feel those two games paid of on the $60 I spent on them. I played GOW once and it was totally worth it too. I was satisfied with the quality, gameplay and story. Not all games will hit all marks as ...
