It's not being afraid of a word, it's not about context. The word was created to be DEROGATORY. No other culture/race/religion/orientat ion has taken their derogatory word and started calling each other by that word. It's stupid, childish, and shows a lack of growth. Forget the past, look to the future. This should not be a discussion =_=
Don't know why words intended for derogatory use, are ever used. You can try to twist the word, it still means EXACTLY what it used to, no matter if you shift that er to an a. You're just being lazy on the pronunciation. No other race actively uses their racial slurs to talk to one another. STOP defending nonsense.
On topic: If this in fact a potential misheard lyric, probably not the smartest thing on Nicki's part, not that I expect much in that department from h...
She is a she. I don't care how passable she is, that is her gender. Nobody walks up to you, who I can only assume as male, and calls you she, or it. This doesn't even happen to the more effeminate men out there. Have some respect. Ignorance doesn't help anyone.
Hi bigot, how's it going? There are many T people who walk the planet, none of them are by nature "immoral". In fact, some of us are much nicer than say, people like you.
Learning to laugh at yourself is one thing, but when you're under constant discrimination and fear of such discrimination, it's not something you can easily do. Walk a mile in someone's shoes before you tell them how they should react. And no, being overweight is /not/ the same.
Way to be a bigot. Nobody "chooses" who they are. You've got a lot to learn about being tolerant, and about how humans work. I don't think you'd be too happy about being called the opposite gender as to what you feel, or being mocked as "it". Get real.
Nice. Let's mention that someone's being oversensitive while being a complete and utter bigoted douchebag. Really helps the point across. /sarcasm
So we're okay with movies having adult content, but heaven forbid we EVER let a game have that. That's just crazy talk.
It's sad how the purpose of this video is somehow going right over people's heads. Despite that, I admire your style sir, I imagine your son will thank you a lot when he's older =)
You can only call it annoying if there's no precedence for there to be articles of this style. Turning a blind eye to a legitimate issue we have as a culture/society will only make things worse. If you're annoyed with the amount of them, work to fix the inequality.
What everyone seems to dismiss so easily when they applaud the "success" of Diablo III, is how fast the game devolved, how quickly the builds became limited. Don't jest by spouting numbers or stats. Correlation =/= Causation. A game can and sometimes does fail despite metacritic opinion, or games sold.
The other part commonly missed is the fan base. If a game were truly great, would fans look at it with but a mere 3.8 score? Are you to tell me only the ones who ...
You have been exposed to some premium shows if this is the worst show you've ever watched...
Neverwinter looks pretty interesting. Hearing some good elements so far about the game, and always a fan of D&D stuff.
Unfortunately, but hopefully they learned what we want out of DMC series, rather than just turning away from the DMC series altogether. That would be a severe tragedy.
Retcons aren't new to story lines, and usually are done to make a better and more interesting/compelling story. I'm not sure if this will happen with the new Tomb Raider, but writing it off without any form of evidence is stupid, since unlike DmC there's no demo to full out hate things from.
Basically, if it's worth hating at least give it a fighting chance to show it's worth hating, if it even is. If it's good and the storyline is enjoyable, while mai...
Who knows, maybe they'd actually do their job. Giving a proper and full review on what was done well and poorly, with good reasoning behind both. But then again, that's probably not what would happen anyway.
No, the game doesn't accomplish what was set out to be done. The music is contrived and a terrible choice overall, the level layouts are boring and uninspired, the combat is weaker than any previous iteration of the series AND the mechanics are weak and shaky.
The only thing NT has managed to accomplish with this game is the dismantling of a series that need not have been dismantled. I don't blame NT solely for this, since Capcom came to them in the first place. But b...
You're right, NG1/Black didn't have lock on, but the sequels which are IMPROVEMENTS on the previous games (except for DMC2, that was abysmal) had lock on features to make things feel significantly better and smarter.
So once again I ask, why are we okay with a lessened experience for literally no gain?
edit: clarified as looking into it, DMC1 had a lock on feature.
Played the demo, it was possibly the single worst action game experience I've played in a decade. No idea how it's getting such glorious reviews.
I'm not even sure the boss battle is the problem here. This game just looks and sounds atrocious. The gameplay looked painful to watch as it was.
