blu ray cost more than dvd and anything that is blu ray sony receives royalties the big picture is sony battled and won a format war lost billions to set themselves up in the end imo which is cool with blu ray I believe it to be the last successful disc format the things are literally indestructible 20+ ps3 games and not a scratch

the ps3 only uses its system ram 256mb for updates the additional 256mb vram is just for games and xmb
while the 360 uses unified ram 512mb so from a system standpoint the 360 has twice the system ram
look at a vita update vs the ps3 update and the winner is the vita
the ps3 its download then install
the 360 & psvita its download and its already installed
or backup games to ps3
in about a year tablets will be as capable as consoles
they are already capable of the last gen consoles and much more thanks to 512-1gb of ram and faster processors
GTA III run smooth as butter on my novo 7 advanced tablet with a 1.2ghz A8 processor and mali 400 gpu 512mb of ddr3 ram and i can add mods just like pc
this game sucks on ps3 the lack of custom soundtrack just kills my experience
