You're completely missing the point, which is, and it's very simple - The campaign can't be played without the patch. The legal side of things I'm sure is all great for Activision, they can do what they want (what a fucking shame), but this isn't right.

There is no excuse for this. The article makes out it's because of leaks that the campaign is unavailable, but who cares about spoilers for a COD game? Death Stranding isn't going to have a pointless disc with gargantuan "patch" for the campaign on day one xD
