Really wanted to be playing this next month.
Glad it wasn't just me. I just scraped through on the first try with just Barrett left, but I know it's because I was rushing and not paying attention during the fight - I foolishly assumed it was going to be a pushover and just spammed attack instead of weighing it up (using spells, cure, techniques). I think the gameplay and combat are amazing and reward thoughtful play, not just mashing attack.
And I love what you do. Don't you know that you're toxic?
Yeah, this. What's he meant to have said/done?
Yes, yes, thanks for your stellar input.
I wouldn't be basing my grievances of gaming laptops on past experiences with them, no no, just going off of what I can't get out of my current laptop primarily meant for productivity.
Brilliant...
I wasn't comparing them to consoles. In the original post anyway.
Ah, it's crazy - Of course I know the difference between the two, we all do.
To be honest with you, I don't know what this discussion is.
Laptops aren't replacing consoles as I'm sure all of us would agree they're completely different. I'm not making that argument.
My first post was just my annoyances with gaming laptops in general.
There's no facts in here, only opinions from me and him.
- Battery: I'll give you the battery one, irrelevant for this topic. They're still shit though.
- Screen: No one is checking their screen before buying it. Backlight bleed, IPS glow, etc.
- Expensive: They are expensive, what are you getting for $700? Probably a crap screen with no brightness, heavy, ugly, overheats, with poor battery.
- Upgrading them: Can't upgrade them compared to d...
Something like that
They'll be fine.
Oh no, some nobody leaked details of a mode inside a video game that hardly anyone saw, call the legal team!
Pathetic.
The only good gaming laptops are the thin and lights which aren't heavy, ugly, obnoxious pieces of crap. However the thin and lights usually still have poor thermals, cost a load more, and aren't as powerful (they do alright though, my Spectre X360 can run most games I throw at it).
But really all gaming laptops suffer with:
The battery is always poor.
All laptop screens are a lottery.
Fucking expensive
Can't upgrade them.

Not finished it yet, quite a few complaints: The combat is pretty naff. The levelling up isn't very deep and it's a slog as there's only three minigame activities to do it. Can't stay out later than 9pm (then again, Ryo is out of the door earlier in the morning now). Money is a bit of a grind to get. Characters and things to do aren't interesting me so far like in 2.
However, I still love it for being a Shenmue game.
If you saw the direct, you saw everything on this list.
I agree with this. This game is its own thing, and the character isn't being horseshoed into an existing, much loved series.
Yep, they are told to make there own game and here it is.
Couldn't agree more. They all had something special about them, not just more of the same each entry.
Can they still ruin my flowers, take my fruit, and leave trash everywhere?
"In recent years, character diversity has been on the rise, but there’s still a long way to go"
I'd say things are proportionate now in regards to number of games there are for how many trans people there are. Let's not go overboard.
Well if it sells it sells
Plenty of those about, my friend :'(
