What an Ass Kissy headline. Pure journalistic integrity right there. An impartial news site should not need to state such things in a headline. Wonder if they had such a headline when the Pro debuted a year ago?
Yep...huuuuge difference. So much that Assassin's Creed Origins is Checkerboard and dynamic 4k on One X. /s After 4 years of getting slammed these guys will take whatever win they can get. Great...it's more powerful...now what are you going to actually play besides third party and old games?
There actually nothing to suck up. It's more powerful, but the PS has more and higher rated games. Also at this point power matters less and less....we are far beyond 1080p now.
They might get it right one day.
@Istolla.....Rockstar. Your turn.
Platformers just don't do it for me anymore. I played them to death as a kid and now I can't kill things by jumping on their heads. I'm sorry but Ive outgrown it all. Good for Nintendo and all the kiddies though!
@pinkcrocodile75.....The PS4 camera isn't discontinued. Neither is the original PS4.
No thanks.
I approve this message! This means we should trash our Pros? Nope.
Well it just got "HDR's Killer App" according to Digital Foundry so I would say it's well equipped. That title didn't go to Xbox One X or Switch.
If CD Project Red could get 2160cb with HBAO and higher quality texture filtering for the Witcher 3 on Pro, these guys could have done better than 1620p for this game. All developers are not talented and this game will not define the Pro.
I loved the graphics and presentation, but could not find a way to calibrate my pedals and wheel. So my experience driving sucked and I deleted it. Also it kept crashing when choosing certain menu items.
Upgrades don't prove a console....great games do. Nuff said.
Screen tearing and drops to 26fps in native 4k mode.. unacceptable. 21fps during the cutscenes...🤔
Reeks of desperation.
This goes for the Pro as well the first time i saw it.
Or unless you don't know anything about computers.
They aren't the same but the Power difference isn't as big as some would have you think either. If the Xbox One used a Ryzen cpu and Vega gpu, then they could talk. A few more Gigs of RAM and slightly sped up chips of the same type do not equal a big difference. The games will be very comparable.
Actually I don't. It's here one year later and is $100 more money so it can have more power. But all of these constant headlines about it is unnecessary....it's like everyone is working for MS. Let them talk up it's strengths. These same sites did nothing a year ago but shit on the pro.
