Nintendo wins and gamers lose.
I agree. But it's not PS3. It's consoles in general. Multiplat between consoles just means more technical staff to make it work on both. Being on PC and consoles means fundamental game design changes that ruin the game's potential if it were PC exclusive. Console/PC would still be mostly separate if it wasn't for Xbox blending and thereby watering down both.
Well I could be happier if EA didn't buy them out. But really EA has surprised me with their freedom to developers and quality games. They were the evil giant a few years ago. Now that title really belongs to Activision.
Haha I've seen Mindboggle defending MW2 in every article about it. The hypocritical irony...
Blizzard's games would not be nearly as revered if they just pumped them out a game and released it. It takes a lot of time and effort to properly balance an RTS. As long as they're constantly working on it I don't really care how long it takes. There's a reason Starcraft is still being played and sold in stores 11 years later.
I can't wait to not buy this game they totally ruined. Single player should be fun for a few hours though.
Already there.
Did great from a business standpoint. Came up with a gimmick to gain popularity. Repackaged cheap Gamecube era hardware into a massively overpriced $250 package. Sold a ton of systems to unsuspecting casual morons.
Only now is the mainstream finally realizing what a piece of crap it has been all along.
IW lost a lot of customers and gained a lot of pirates.
MW2 with dedicated servers - Highest selling PC game in years.
MW2 without dedicated servers - Most pirated PC game ever.
I hope it gets less than 50k sales. They can go to hell for ruining PC gaming.
yep
$50 more for just a larger HDD isn't really a good deal. Would be nice if it had a few more extras. You could actually get a 250GB HDD for about $50 in addition to the $299 120GB. Or a 500GB for about $85. Still much better than 360's pricing system though.
Such a shame some developers are still being lazy and shoveling out a crappy port.
Even though I don't personally like it much I think Gears1 was probably overall a better game in its time than UC1. Just being new style of TPS gameplay and having a decent multiplayer. UC2 on the otherhand is VASTLY superior to Gears2.
If only there were that many Wii games worth playing...
If anything Killzone2 was the game everyone was hyping to fail miserably. Didn't fall short in really any aspect. Met the hype and beat the hate.
Halo3 on the other hand was quite mediocre. You'd think they'd have tried to redeem the piece of crap campaign from Halo2 but it was only slightly better. I still think Halo1 is the best one. Had far more fun playing its multiplayer LAN than Halo2/3s weapon whoring BS. Sure you "hardcore" gamers (pathetic joke compared to PC g...
Decent game but MGS4 was definitely the best in that range of time. And after that Killzone2 and Gears2 should come before Fallout3.
BTW did anyone think they were reading a Gamespot article at first? That site is like a copy/paste of Gamespot's GUI.
Hmmm. I haven't touched my DS in at least 2 years. Piss poor game library imo. Best game was Mario64 remake and MP:Hunters but Nintendo and everyone else quickly gave up on using the touch screen for anything that actually deepens handheld gameplay. Not even a single RTS has been made! Pretty much just another Gameboy. Since then PSP built up a decent library and become the superior system imo.
I really hope you aren't referring to Perfect Dark Zero... that game was like bathing in feces horrible. N64 Perfect Dark was insanely awesome for its time though. Rare is just worthless post-N64 days imo.
