I have a hunch Microsoft is going to take over a major Third party publisher that has a good number of Studios. EA / Activision would be a bit too big for them to take over. My bet is probably Ubi or Take2.
Or they seriously are not intent on competing 'next' gen time around.

For all the people who doubt this game, I am pretty sure you haven't played Indigo Prophecy......All u doubters, go do that....That was an amazing experience and I am sure this would be too...
I am all excited for these Quantic Dream guys. With this level of immersion, they should be able to take the "Indigo Prophecy" like genre to the next level......and that my friends alone is enough to get hyped over this.

Costs....If they had factored in a HD DVD drive, at that time, the cost of the console would have gone up exponentially and with that market penetration goes down drastically. But on hindsight, that was very very shortsighted.

BTW, if you see the new Motostorm Pacific Rift gameplay videos, they almost nailed it to the teaser trailer they showed earlier.....
I would wait till they show more of GOW of war, but I wouldn't doubt them especially after we know what happened with Killzone 2 and now Motostorm 2.

They simply sold out......Simultaneous launch would have been MS first criteria for the pay out...
If the platform situation and getting the game across the large number of fans was the criteria, then StarOcean IV would be getting a simultaneous release too.....
