I think the PS3 UI is set out logically and categorically correct.
Things are easy to find and navigate to.
I find the 360 UI to have the illusion of being open and flowing but it just has more needles windows and irrelevant categories and digging 10 screens in to view something.
Hopefully this new UI on the Xbox is a bit more logical than the current one.

I think the big deal is the fact that you have to have the new dash UI. Why not give people the option to upgrade or keep the current one?

I have seen Funlabs and it's a start but I don't think it will go far enough with the power of the basic Kinect and the Xbox.
Funlabs does have some fun things though.

Yeah it fair BS and I still can't see this Xbox or even the next gen Xbox taking proper advantage of the Kinect the way people hacking/modding it for PC use are.
I can't see MS being that "smart" or using enough foresight to give people the technical freedom to make Kinect great and more than the pew pew eye toy with a mike that it is.
I have seen great things done with hacked/modded Kinect(s) running on PC's, but they are all fairly pow...

My mate uses a 6 year old lappy and he plays Killing floor, Minecraft, all the C&C games, world of warcraft etc.
It isn't the best but damn it still does it and his lappy would be for sale at cash converters for $49 if you know what I mean lol.
