Hell yeah! I'm so glad to see that Rayman origins has inspired Ubisoft to keep producing proper platformers as opposed to more Rabbids games. Not that I didn't enjoy Rabbids, but Origins was absolutely fantastic and I was a big fan of the early Rayman games.
Interesting stuff. I don't know where Microsoft is planning on going with the Xbox brand, but they seem to be stagnating. Hopefully that's just them getting ready to change things up.
I love Suda51's work, but I'm still kinda skeptical on this. I might pick up Shadows of the Damned before I try giving Lollipop Chainsaw a go. Hopefully it'll be nice and cheap by then.
I absolutely agree that 3D fighting games aren't the only complex ones, but I guess it's a type of complexity that I just can't wrap my head around. I don't dislike fighting games that are hard or complex: I'm a huge fan of the Guilty Gear series, but it's type of complexity is incredibly different than the kind that is seen in 3D fighters.
While I'll admit that the idea behind having incredibly large movelists allows for characters to be played ve...
Another week of slim pickings, it seems.
Although I'm really happy to see Pikmin 2 come out for the Wii with updated controls. I know original GameCube copies are relatively expensive so this could potentially bring down the price of that although I find that unlikely. It will make the game much more readily available to gamers, so that's always a plus!
Unfortunately, I don't have a Wii to play it on. I think I'm just biding my time until I ca...
I'm still really happy with my Logitech G9X, but I like to have a list of alternatives should it die out on me. I'm not a big fan of Razer mice, but this looks nice. Too many buttons for me, though.
I'm really not looking forward to much at this years E3, which probably means that everyone's kept things well under wrap and that I'll be blown away. I hope I'm right!
I'm badly in need of a USB headset. I'll keep this guide in mind!
No seriously, my current headset is starting to die out on me.
Well, shit. I really need to start playing Skyrim now. I didn't enjoy Oblivion, so I've always been really skeptical. Then again, I barely put any time into Oblivion...
I remember seeing the Storybricks stuff at PAX Prime last year. Cool to see that they're getting things moving!
Still planning on keeping an eye on this, even though I never played any of the Leisure Suit Larry games. I don't know how I should feel about that. :/
Interesting to see him moving from something as big as he had to just a role in the mobile games division. Either way, with all the momentum mobile gaming has been building, it's not as much of a downgrade as it would've been 10 (or even 5) years ago.
Looks rad!
Damnit. Now I miss Garrus and Mordin. :/
At least they can't make the Fable franchise any worse now, right? Right?
Ugh.
Looks like the only people who have anything to look forward to are MMO fans. :/
This one felt a little weaker than other entries into the series, but still came across as relatively insightful. Still looking forward to the next one, though.
As someone who hasn't gotten into the show or comic very much, I'm probably going to pick this up when it goes on sale.
That's right, just under a month now. I still desperately need to upgrade my graphics card before then!
I've always been a fan of this sort of "behind the scenes" stuff for games, even if it's just a time-lapsed video. Looking forward to the RotT party at PAX!
