the killzone 2 screenshots were in rgb mode, and the gears were pictures were in indexed mode. This means that the killzone pics look smoother when downsised, and the gears look grainy. Whoever did this comparison is biased.

but there will really be no comparison. The 360 has the best (easiest) dev tools out there. And when people say that wii games cost less to produce, it's just because most wii games are crap. If devs were to make games that looked exactly the same on both systems, they would spend less money on the 360 version.

I'm sorry, that's just not true. None of the people I know who are wii owners want a ps3, but even if I knew a thousand people who own a wii, and asked them if they intend to buy a ps3, and they ALL said yes, that would account for less than 0.0002% of all wii owners in the world. Yeah, that's 'most' of them alright. I don't like the wii or nintendo, but blind ignorance bothers me.
Actually, SONY made the playstation to get revenge. Ken made the playstation because he had wanted to make a game console for almost a decade before that.
Apple just needs to make a freaking handheld and get it over with. I mean, a REAL handheld, not some jacked up phone that will technically run digitally distributed games, but a serious system. I personally think it would be successful.
