Honestly, why have they bothered porting this game? No one really believed the horse crap being spouted with the attempted hype the fist time around let alone a second time around.
To be honest regardless of the review scores these games have received i'm yet to be convinced that the PS4 is worth owning. The scores may be ridiculous or harsh but in my opinion not a lot has lived up to what we were being sold.
People can argue that Driveclub can't be compared to the likes of GT5/6 but how can a comparison not be made. This is honestly how i'm looking at them:
- Hello, i'm GT. I have over 1000 cars to choose from with awes...
If you read the review, what's been said about the game overall is positive. It's simply the fact that the game is constantly reminding you about club features, online this and online that yet that aspect is effectively broken.
Would be no different if Destiny was like 'go fight in the crucible!' in every loading screen but not have that section of the game available.
Referring to the online component: "The community will have moved on before it’s sorted."
Have to say I agree, I've not bothered in the past few days and i'm considering selling it before it gets ruined again by the PS+ release and ends up in the bargain bins.
I wouldn't say that. Anyone I've ever see mention it has only ever had great things to say about it.
Sure I saw FF6 on the Android store a few months back for £12.99, what a joke.
Great game but I went the way of the pirate and grabbed the .apk for free then realised I preferred the SNES version which I already have on my phone. Go figure. :o
Heh been a while since I played this. :)
Buried somewhere in Sega HQ with the corpse of Yu Suzuki, the Yu Suzuki walking around these days is actually a cyborg...kinda like the ones out of Binary Domain.
'Masterful and breathtaking scenario'
Made me chuckle when a comment like that is listed alongside general specs. :)
Shouldn't be surprised really, Activision see nothing wrong with this approach and neither do the millions of people who buy CoD every year.
The concept itself is pretty good, they just need to avoid it feeling like BF4 with different objectives and it will probably be quite successful.
"I also think PS Now had some effect on their decision, having 3 different subscriptions on one console could be a little daunting to consumers."
That's exactly what I think. People don't want a load of ongoing subscriptions and I don't think Sony's offering will be anywhere as affordable as EA's.
A shame really as Sony have decided that it doesn't offer great value to the consumer yet I would have signed up for it on day one...
Maybe because it's in bad shape and rather than release to scores of 5/10 for a complete faff of a launch they've decided to sit on it for another six months...so when it releases in an incomplete state, we can all sit around scratching our heads wondering why.
Oh, wait...
When the retail version is sorted. Perhaps in November.
@lategamer
I feel your rage. Still can't pause downloads or group apps into folders either, if anything the lack of functionality is seriously embarrassing.
It's not like i'm asking for the ability to launch nuclear strikes from the console, just a bit of BASIC functionality
No Man's Sky, all I've taken from it is you fly about and look at dinosaurs/trees/stuff, claim a stake to discovering it first aaaaaaand that's about it.
I'm getting a horrible feeling there isn't much more to it.
"People in the 90's were more open, honest, and got along a bit better......or maybe that was because I was younger."
It's because discussions were in person rather than hidden behind the anonymity the internet provides.
If half the things said on this site were said in person it would more often than not result in someone getting a beating.
The difference being that Google will be backing this one. Deep pockets can go a long way, just look at Microsoft... :D
Until Konami get the official licensing for the major leagues so they can use the player names, 99% of football fans will opt for Fifa.
It's barely coherent which probably means it's been translated.
